Session no. 2
Last week sunday, while watching television, i received a text msg from a college friend (tanx 3na) asking if we can meet up thursday wid mam jumz (i consider 2 b my spiritual adviser in my college days) after work. FTR: It's been a looong time since i had a cellgroup* wid them, since i started working and moved to prñaque..i said yes. So yesterday was our 2nd meeting.
.
The discussion turned-out so well.. i learned (again) a lot of things that are not taught in school, but lessons on how to live life 2 d fullest and had a dose of "proteins" 4 my soul as well. :) We talked about life..trials..and a lot of things..
.
"Life are not meant to make you weak, rather to just prove how strong you are."
Sa tagalaog hehe (may ganon?): ung mga trials ay hindi binigay pra pahinain ka, kundi ipakita lng kung gano ka katatag pra harapin un. makes sense db? (cmon, think about it..its 2 different things right?)
.
Basta to sum-up..here are the important points:
.
Point one: Trials are inevitable.
If you were able to read my previous posts, its more likely d same. Problems are inevitable, but lemme add some phrase, but worrying is optional. dats it.period!
.
Point two: Trials are unpredictable.
Even the greatest / strongest people here on earth (including super heroes..hehe!) cannot really predict what lies ahead. sbi p nga ni mam jumz, cno ba nman ang magsasabi, "ay mamaya 7pm, may problema akong dadating." Its always unpredictable.. that's why we have to be always ready (financially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and other "lys" hehe). Of course its easier said than done, the things is, atleast its good to be prepared *winks.
.
Point three: Trials come in wide variety. Yes, there are a lot of them.. but remember, it only makes/shows you are strong.Yes you are strong. Believe me.
.
Point four (and the most important): Trials are with purpose.
need i say more? :)
.
In our "busy-ness" and everyday work.. I hope that we do not forget to always thank the Lord for the blessings.. Count what we have, and not the things that were lacking. God is always there with open arms, just waiting for us to do the same. After reading this, why don't you take some moment (close your eyes if you can) and heartily say "thank you God".
