eleksyon: dalawang libo at sampu

its either i’m getting old that almost everyone i know has now become a registered voter and actually voted in the recently concluded national elections or they just really wanted a change and have become more involved and concerned to our country.

whichever it is, here are my thoughts:

1. of course there are glitches, but not bad for the first-time ever automated elections. good job smartmatic and comelec. after 1 day, some local positions we’re already declared.

2. and yay! no more sleepless nights (and ridiculous pay) for our beloved teachers.
3. thumbs up for those candidates who admitted defeat and conceded as early as 2nd day of counting.

4. forget who actually got your vote, let’s support those in the position now. after all, they all promised a better Philippines.
5. for candidates who won, we will all be watching you!
